What is a GDPR?
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new European privacy law that took effect on 25 May 2018. The GDPR will replace the EU's "Data Protection Directive" and will implement a single data protection law throughout the EU.
Data protection laws govern the way that businesses collect, use, and share personal data about individuals. Furthermore, they require companies to process an individual's personal data fairly and lawfully, to enable individuals to exercise legal rights in relation to their personal data e.g. to access, correct or delete their personal data and ensure adequate security protection in order to protect the personal data they process.
We have taken steps to ensure that we are GDPR compliant by July 25, 2019 to the best of our knowledge.
